Closed ROs are the clearest measure of throughput — and one of the messiest when it comes to tying back to the revenue number the accounting system reports. CCC's report does not help you reconcile the two.
Why It Breaks
CCC closes an RO on a workfile action; accounting closes revenue on invoice posting. The two timelines drift by days. Add multi-shop and multi-carrier and the reconciliation is a monthly headache.
What MSOs Actually Need
- Daily closed-RO count per shop, reconciled to revenue.
- Delta view — ROs closed in CCC but not invoiced, and vice versa.
- Trailing throughput vs capacity by shop.
- Month-end close summary for the controller and PE pack.
The Fix
Warehouse CCC close events + accounting invoice data, render reconciliation + trend. Typical build: 2 weeks.
