How many ROs did the shop open this week? CCC will tell you. It won't tell you where they came from, how fast they moved from estimate to RO, or whether blueprinting caught everything on day one.
Why It Breaks
CCC counts creates. It doesn't source-tag reliably (DRP vs walk-in vs referral), doesn't measure estimate-to-RO velocity, and doesn't flag weak blueprints that turn into late supplements.
What MSOs Actually Need
- RO created per day, per shop, per source.
- Estimate-to-RO conversion time distribution.
- Blueprint completeness — initial estimate hours vs final hours per RO.
- Forward-looking pipeline: open estimates that should become ROs this week.
The Fix
Warehouse estimate + RO events, tag source, compute velocity. Typical build: 1–2 weeks.
