Timecard data is how payroll gets run and how tech efficiency gets measured. CCC's Timecard History export is tolerable for a single shop and painful once payroll is consolidated across an MSO.
Why It Breaks
CCC captures clock-in/out and job assignment. It doesn't reconcile against the payroll provider (ADP, Paychex, Gusto), doesn't flag missed punches at scale, and doesn't compute efficiency (booked hours รท clocked hours) cleanly for multiple shops at once.
What MSOs Actually Need
- Daily efficiency per tech per shop (booked vs clocked).
- Exception flags: missed punches, double-punches, long lunches.
- Payroll pre-check that matches CCC hours to what's going to ADP.
- Weekly MSO-level view for operations leadership.
The Fix
Warehouse CCC timecard data + payroll provider data, run matching logic, surface exceptions before payroll close. Typical build: 2 weeks.
